Oscar-palkinnot on jaettu 95. kerran. Yksikään ehdokas ei vetänyt juontajaa turpiin lavalla, eikä väärää nimeä luettu kirjekuoresta. Laulut laulettiin, hömpälle löytyi aikaa ja kaikki kategoriat käytiin läpi suorana, joten hätäilystä on luovuttu.

Eniten palkintoja sai Everything Everywhere All at Once, joka myös oli laajimmin ehdolla. Länsirintamalta ei mitään uutta pärjäsi hyvin ja The Whale palkittiin kahdesti.
