This series is for the man who “doesn’t mind the skimpy bikinis" but “DAMN”, wishes I’d “take a picture of a flower every once in a while” and “STOP AWKWARDLY POSING AND MAKING MYSELF THE CENTRE OF ATTENTION” ????????? … i… I failed you. ????????? OK. So let's talk about this comment. Cos these kinds of comments are cropping up all over the place at the moment - both to me and to other female creators on here, often by men (NO, NOT ALL OF YOU) and it strikes me as both depressing and fascinating that our content keeps being assessed and, more often than not, criticised by those for whom it was not even initially intended. It's like watching a bunch of people complaining that Calpol isn’t helping with their Hayfever. ????????? Although everyone's welcome here, it needs to be acknowledged that the content that I make is, for the most part, to help those with low confidence feel better about themselves. It's to empower and amuse and is made by sharing MY life. That means I will be the centre of attention. It means I talk a lot about my body. If you don’t like that, for your own wellbeing, you should leave. ????????? Cos I am not in YOUR hands. No woman is EVER in your hands. You phone is, and I might pop up on that from time to time, but I am a PERSON A complete and complex person. I am not going to exist simply how you want me to; JUST in skimpy bikinis. JUST (ever?) taking photos of flowers. Slotting nicely into the preconceptions of what YOU think a woman SHOULD be. I don't need permission. I don't need approval. And whilst I always welcome a conversation, i am disinclined to take you remotely seriously if you talk to me in a way that we both know you absolutely wouldn't speak to a bloke on here. ????????? I don't mind the skimpy outfits, sir. But take a photo of a flower every once in a while would ya? Oh fuck off. ????????? PS. Does anyone know any good gardening accounts for this guy to follow???
