Fanipoika Lars Ulrich tippa linssissä yhteiskuvassa ihailemansa muusikkoveteraanin kanssa

Lars Ulrich ja Robert Trujillo olivat vaimoineen vastaanottamassa Metallicalle myönnettyä Polar Music Prize -palkintoa Tukholmassa.

Larsin vaimo Jessica Miller paljasti Instagramissa miehensä tirauttaneen pari kyyneltä Deep Purple -legendojen Roger Gloverin ja Ian Paicen ollessa mukana palkintojenjakoseremoniassa.

Lars on lisännyt Instagramiin kuvaa fanipoika Larsista suurten esikuviensa rinnalla:

"What a mindfuck to receive the award itself from two of the biggest musical mainstays on my creative journey... Roger Glover and Ian Paice from Deep Purple. First concert I ever went to in 1973 and the band that I keep coming back to over and over for inspiration, exploration and endless mind-blowing holy fuck moments. Massive amounts of love & appreciation to you both for rolling out and sharing these incredible days with us".
