Itse ilkimys peittosi The Lone Rangerin myös Suomessa

Itse ilkimys 2 oli viikonlopun katsotuin elokuva Suomessa. Kuten kävi Yhdysvalloissakin, hillityllä budjetilla tehtailtu koko perheen animaatio voitti jättibudjetin länkkärin The Lone Ranger (joka saapui ohjelmistoon jo keskiviikkona).

The Lone Ranger joka tapauksessa myi hieman enemmän lippuja kuin viikkoa aiemmin (myöskin keskiviikkona) teattereihin saapunut Teräsmies-leffa Man of Steel. Maailmalla Man of Steel on menestynyt selkeästi paremmin, joskaan The Lone Ranger ei ole vielä saapunut kaikille markkinoille.
