Suomalaisia taidonnäytteitä ehdolla toukokuussa järjestettävässä Nordic Game Awards -gaalassa

Vuotuinen pohjosmaisia pelejä palkitseva Nordic Game Awards -gaala järjestetään tänä vuonna 27. toukokuuta. Myös ehdokaslista on julkaistu.

Nolla Gamesin lokakuussa 2020 julkaisema Noita on ehdokkaana kolmessa eri kategoriassa. Tärkein kategoria lienee Game of the Year, jossa haastajana ovat Deep Rock Galactic, Mørkredd, Crusader Kings III ja Teardown.

Noita ei suinkaan ole ainoa suomalainen peli, joka on ehdolla palkintogaalassa. Best Debut -kategoriassa on ehdolla Resistance Gamesin Company of Crime. Kyseessä on 1960-luvun Lontooseen sijoittuva taktinen vuoropohjainen strategiapeli.

Palkintogaala striimataan suorana verkkoon. Gaalassa palkitaan pääasiallisesti vain pohjoismaalaisia pelejä, mutta vuonna 2021 mukaan astelee uusi kategoria: Best European game, jossa ehdolla ovat Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Dreams, Factorio, Knights and Bikes ja Cyperpunk 2077.
